The Super Dramatic Life of a Grade Twelver

So I was sitting here wondering what to write about, and I thought I had pretty much decided to write about Saskatchewan, but then I though it would be mildly interesting to write part of a story. So here goes..........
It was a cold night, the kind of cold that makes the breath catch in you throat and wonder why you ventured outside in the first place. The stars were in clear view, casting spots of light on the ground. He looked out through the vast expanse of land, his icy blue eyes scanning the snow covered ground. Suddenly he picked up footsteps. They headed north, with one of them slightly indented more than the other. 'He's slowing down,' said the man, pulling his ski mask over his face. He maded his way north, quickening his pace as he went on. He knew that he had to catch him, and if he didn't..........well, not catching him wasn't an option now. He passed quickly by a steel shed, no doubt used for the ranchers' many tools. He sped up, not trusting the look of the cold steel, so like the steely glare of his eyes. A snap halted his walk, and he turned to look back, catching a darting shadow. There was someone behind the shed.

If you live in Northern BC, Canada, you probably know that it gets pretty cold in the winter. We're talking about minus 20-30 degrees celsius, with the temperature decreasing as you go further north, with the possible exception of Prince Rupert. Anyways, along with this icy cold, comes many snowfalls. In fact, it was minus 15 or so yesterday AND it snowed all day. People plowing their driveways were pretty much used to the amount of snow, but for sure weren't happy with the freezing cold with occasional winds. Now, people who live further north than me are probably like why are you complaining? We get minus forty degree weather! I do understand, but I still feel the need to complain because I am definitely not made for the cold. Anyways, ciao for now.

Does anyone else out there strongly dislike spiders? They are sooo creepy, especially when they creep up on you. My dad usually kills the spiders around our house, and there are quite a few of them. One time, one fell from the roof of our bathroom into the sink and it made a big thunk (yeah, it was that big). I'd like to know how the people in South America deal with their dinner plate sized spiders. I mean, you ain't gonna squish those with a Kleenex. I think the best method of dealing with those size spiders is a shovel or a shotgun :) Anyhoo here's hoping that those dinner plate size spiders don't decide to migrate to North America. Let's go Panama Canal! See ya for now.

Has anyone out there ever heard of Humphrey Bogart? I watched this movie called Sabrina a while back, and he was in it. He is sooo cool. I watched him in this movie today which I think was called The Maltese Falcon. OMG. Sooo awesome. He would have been so good as James Bond! Well, maybe he was James Bond at some point in time; I don't really know the history of all the Bonds :( It's too bad most of his movies, well the ones I've seen anyways (which is, oh, two) are in black in white :( Oh well, sometimes that's okay. Anyhooooo, speaking of James Bond, I really want to see Casino Royale. I think Daniel Craig will be an awesome James Bond! What do you think? Until then, shaken, not stirred.

Today is a rare day when I have to do absolutely nothing after school. I love it! No work, no grad fundraisers........it rocks! Well, I guess I'll have to do some grad fundraisers pretty soon anyways. The 2nd week of December is going to be really busy. We have a turkey bingo, a skate with Santa, and a whole bunch of activities having to do with West Fraser. Fun stuff. Anyhoo, I guess I'll enjoy the free time while it lasts......which is about one day (I have to work tomorrow). See ya later!

I sometimes wish that I could go back to the days when I was in elementary school. Everything was so easy, and my biggest responsibility was to build a container that would keep an egg harm-free after it was thrown off a roof. (Haha......we did some pretty sweet stuff in Mr. Mac's class........BTW my egg totally survived) I guess I'm just getting a little nervous about leaving high school. There is going to be so much responsibility on my shoulders when I'm used to living at home and getting free meals (haha). I have a job, but I've been at this same job for about 3 years, so getting another job might be scary. Anyways, I guess I know that i can't go back to elementary school, it's just a nice time to look back on (except for that time I fell off the merry-go-round........that hurt!), and I'm glad of all the things I know now that I didn't know then. Well, ciao for now!

Well, today we're working on our cookbooks for grad. They will look pretty good when we're done. We are planning to sell them at the senior's flea market, and hopefully they will sell okay. This Friday we have a spaghetti dinner/cake walk/volleyball game for grad. Its going to be pretty busy. I can't wait to see how we're going to eat a ton of spaghetti and then manage to play volleyball. It's going to be pretty sweet. Saturday is the flea market, and I signed up for the 9:00 am to 11:00 am shift. I figured I may as well get it over with :) . Then in December our grad activities mostly consist of helping West Fraser with their big dinner and party. I signed on to wash dishes (momentary lapse in judgement.....just kidding....LOL). Anyways, hopefully we are making a big dent in the funds required to take all 20 or so of us grads (yes, 20!) to Edmonton for our grad trip. Sweet West Edmonton Mall here we come! Ciao for now!

Well, this weekend I've been doing a whole lot of nothing. Except on Sunday I saw the movie "The Prestige" with Sam and Chrissy. It was about two magicians competing to be the best magician in the world. It was pretty good and it had a really surprising twist at the end; I never would have guessed it. Well, Sam guessed it, but I'm pretty sure most people wouldn't. Anyways I've gotten into really old movies lately, and we're not talking about movies from the 80's either. I watched "Sabrina" which is from 1954, and "Breakfast at Tiffany's" which is from 1964, I think, or somewhere around there. They're both really good and Audrey Hepburn is a good actress in them. To the right is a pic of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Well, Ciao for now!

Well, I was pretty bored about two minutes ago, and I just finished my other blog and don't have too much to say now, so I took some personality quizzes. I'm sure you will all find this awfully interesting, so I'm going to tell you about some of my results. (And, if I can figure it out, I might put the links to some of them on my blog.) Dude, I took a Sesame Street quiz to find out which character I am, and it appears that I am cookie monster. That seems about right, as i like junk food way too much. I also found out which exteme sport I should try......sandboarding. Sounds pretty sweet, except when you hit the ground probably. I'm not too into having sand up my nose. I also found out that my true birth month is in January.......which is strange since I was born in July. The description suits me pretty well, except I'm not always hard-working........ I am also Jean Grey from X-Men. Those of you who don't know what X-Men is.....ask Alex, he'll probably know. Anyways, I put the links for some of the ones I did, and there are tons more on that website, so hopefully it all works out for you. Ciao for now.

Dude!!!! Having the internet rocks! I love MSN........I think I spent like an hour fiddling around with my display picture. I had a new one like every minute. I feel sorry for the people I was talking to. I also love those emoticons on MSN or whatever they're called. I have this sweet one of spiderman dancing like a ballerina. Thank-you Chrissy!! I don't know how to put on the dancing spiderman so I'll just leave that up to you to imagine what it looks like. Hahaha, its pretty funny. Anyways, even though the internet at home rocks, there are some stupid things that come along with it. Pop-ups are soooooo annoying. I even had pop-up blocker on, but the abc (TV channel, for those of you who don't know) website decided to multiply itself like 50 times. Everytime I would close out of it, the stupid thing would be like haha I'm going to open up 20 more times. Jeez. Anyways, that's my shpiel about the internet for now. See-ya! To the right, you will see one of my many display pics :)
